DJ PREMIER Set to Drop Classic Albums All "YEAR ROUND".

Whenever one year rolls into the next, we tend to reflect on everything that came our way in the previous year and what we have to look forward to in the year to come. While 2010 brought us plenty of memorable albums, DJ PREMIER is promising there will be a lot for hip-hop heads to look forward to in 2011. Knowing that he would not be able to release any of these projects that he was working on before the year ended, he wanted to give fans something to tide them over. Laughing, Preemo refers to this as “the stalling album.” In mid-December, his stalling project dropped: DJ Premier presents Year Round Records – Get Used To Us.

“I really wanted to drop at least one album in 2010, and I wasn’t ready. NYG’z and Nick Javas are the closest to being done. NYG’z will be the first album I produced in its entirety since Gangstarr’s The Ownerz(2003). They have been a part of the Gangstarr foundation from back in the day.” Listening to their single “Policy,” that classic Gangstarr sound is unmistakable. It is almost like it is a way to let fans know, if they already didn’t, that they are a part of the foundation: ”With me, I come with that DJ mentality. Because I think like a DJ first that has a lot to do with when I am going to drop something new. ‘Policy’ sounds like that type of a record that provides a proper introduction to where they are going to go from that point on. The album is really dope. It has some of my best production, and as far as being original, I just went with real left field beats. We didn’t follow the same protocol on the album. Not every song is hook, rhyme, hook, rhyme. Some records someone is rapping for two bars, and then someone will rap for four, and then someone will rap for 12. We tried not to follow the same pattern for how hip-hop records are supposed to be made. There is nothing to skip. I have never made fillers, and this is no different.” Pulling from each of the projects that he has been working on, this compilation gives fans a heads up for what they should check for. To support this current project and build anticipation towards those projects dropping in 2011, Preemo will drop four singles: “Fine By Me” by MC Eiht, “Policy” by NYG’z, “Hot Flames” by Khaleel, and “Opportunity Knocks” by Nick Javas. With the exception of MC Eiht, these four singles, which all have their own videos to accompany them, represent the Year Around stable of artists.

Part of Preemo’s strategy for releasing four singles is to make sure that he gives an artist from each region their proper shine: “Eiht’s from the West Coast, Khaleel’s from Texas and can work the south, NYG’z represent New York, and Nick Javas represents New Jersey for all of the Italians out there. I am really taking it there with being different. Even though I own my own label, I had to fight my label manager on dropping four singles because he thinks it is a bit much, but I am like why not? We are independent. When you are independent, you can do whatever you want. You don’t have to follow the same map of major labels.” With all of his experience dealing with labels over the years, it seems like Preemo wants to run his label like he runs his Sirius Satellite Radio program: “Exactly. It is just like when they hired me to do the Sirius Satellite show, I said, ‘what do you want me to do?’ They said, the same thing that you did in ‘92 on WBLS.’ That is exactly what I do. We do everything from the perspective of how radio used to be fun. I remember when I used to listen to the radio and would run home just to tape a show, so I could have the freshest hip-hop for that week, and no DJs really do that anymore. I do it and a few others, but we are the only one’s taking it there, and you have a chance to get your record heard not because we are looking out for anybody but because we think you should hear it. I play it because it is a good record, and I want to hear it.”

This could be the simplest way to sum up Premier’s DJ mentality: Create great albums that not only does he think fans should hear, but he wants to hear as well. FANBOYS will always concoct their dream team collaborations, but Premier, alongside Pete Rock, is actually working to make at least one dream collaboration come together. “Me and Pete Rock did the DJ Premier Vs. Pete Rock show in Tokyo, Japan for Manhattan Record’s 30th anniversary of their store being in existence. It was a really good concert, and we are getting ready for our flight, and we are like ‘Yo where is Pete?’ And Pete is out digging for records to make beats. We call him on the phone, and are like ‘Yo, get back to the hotel, we are on the van ready to go, and he was like ‘OK let me just go to one more record store.’ We told him he should have done that yesterday, so I was like, don’t make have to battle you, and Corey Smith, his manager, was like you should battle and put it on wax, so the album came about because we almost missed out flight because he wanted to go to the record store early in the morning, but that’s Pete; he dumbs out like that; he can do that; he’s the homie. He’s laid his ground work and still a funky ass mothafucka.” They both agreed to do the versus album where they would each get to work with six different MCs. Knowing Preemo’s history with legendary MCs, one thing is certain: He doesn’t want to be predictable, but wants to hit people with the unexpected: “Instead of me going for a Jay-Z or a Drake or a Kanye, which I would do if I was doing a DJ Premier solo album, we are keeping it UNDERGROUND. Let’s go with Beatnuts and GZA. I won’t tell anymore of the artists. Premier and the Beatnuts, no one is expecting that. Premier and GZA, no one is expecting that. ” While the intention was to keep the artists a secret, both artists are revealing some of the cards they are holding: “I know that he is working with Torae because he did it in my studio, and he didn’t hide it from me. I played it, and the beat is fucking crazy. It is some different Pete Rock, and Torae got busy on it. I told him he can’t tell me anyone else, that he just has to surprise me. I have all of my artists except for two, and they are all unexpected artists.” While this is a Vs. project and both want to bang out the hardest records. Preemo suggests that there could be a couple of tracks where some cross collaboration occurs: “We have had some discussion about maybe me scratching on his record or it might have been him rhyming on one my beats, so it is possible.” While he has not discussed doing any other Vs. projects with other producers, he does reveal that he and Scratch have talked about doing a project together.

What binds each of the artists that he is working with is their hunger to put out good music. Even though each artist provides a different challenge to work with, Preemo insists that working with veterans that he has a relationship with is easy. Return of the Boom Bip, the KRS-One/ Preemo Collaboration, is one of those seamless collaborations. “It is so much fun to work with Kris, and I know how easy it is going to be working with him. It isn’t going to be [in a whiny voice] ‘I don’t want to do this, I don’t want to do this.’ He is going to go in. I am going to go in. That beat for 5% was originally for Rakim when he was on Aftermath, and it was called the “The Mind of Rakim.” After things fell through with his Aftermath project, the beat was just sort of sitting. When me and KRS got together to take about beats for this track, he asked if I had anything just laying around. I told him that I always wanted to use this beat. When he heard the beat, he said he was looking to do a track about the 5% nation for the 21st Century. Suddenly there is a knock at the door, and it was Ice-T and his wife, and we were all talking. He said that we needed to get someone like a Grand Puba on the record. Me and KRS-both said ‘Grand Puba!’ and smiled. I called Lord Finesse who told me that he was in a bar in Harlem. He came in walking like Frankenstein because he had a snuck a drink out under his arm. We did the song that night, and Puba took the song home to get his verse perfect because there were a couple of things that he wanted to fix. It sounds like what it is supposed to sound like. We even got a song called “Return of the Boombip.” Kris ran into Q-Tip on the street. I didn’t even know Tip was coming with Kris. We were trying to decide a name of the album. I was like, ‘Why don’t we call it Return of the BoomBap Part 2? Krs was like, ‘No, why don’t we call it return of the Boom Bip, and he, I and Tip start going boom bip, the boom bip. After we decided that was going to be the title, I said I got a beat for Tip to jump on. We are really going to make this a masterpiece like Return of the BoomBap is.”

With all of these projects coming out and the revelation that he is producing the NYG’z album in its entirety, the discussion shifts to what would be another dream collaboration: Preemo producing an entire Jay-Z or Nas album: “Yes, me and Nas talked about doing an entire album right before him and Jay squashed the beef when I was getting to work on the Christina Aguilera album. When he asked me if I would do an entire album, I said, ‘absolutely.’ We had to keep stopping, and then I ran into him at Rock the Bells D.C. show. Lauryn Hill brought Nas out as a special guest to perform “If I Ruled The World.” Right as he gets done, he gets off stage and there is this big entourage, and I am like I am not going to go over there; I know how that goes.” Premier is eventually spotted by one of those in Nas’ entourage Jungle, and Nas calls him over saying that he needs to talk to him: “If we do this album, would you tour with me?” I said, “of course. Let’s do this shit man. Who wouldn’t go to a NAS/DJ Premier Tour?”

Premier has the ability to make a good MC sound great and a great MC sound timeless, so it shouldn’t come as surprise that he is in such high demand. Long time collaborator Freddie Foxx will be dropping The Collection this year. “It’s almost like a greatest hits of me and him that never got released.” The project will feature rare cuts, a lot of unreleased material, and seven new tracks that they completed for this project. Consider that in one year Preemo will be dropping projects with the legendary Pete Rock and KRS-One, veterans Freedie Foxx and MC Eiht, hungry upcoming artists NYG’z, Khaleel, and Nick Javas, there shouldn’t be any reason why 2011 isn’t one to remember for Preemo. Can you think of another time when he dropped this much material in one year? In addition to all of these mentioned projects, there is one MC who has expressed a desire to work on an album with Premier but instead has discussed being a part of a very different and very special event. “I would be down, I actually spoke with Kurupt the other day when I put this Guru tribute concert together. I asked him to perform the “You Know My Steez” Remix with Lady of Rage because I am bringing all of the remix artists into the fold for the concert in 2011. In addition, Preemo stresses that when he is ready to go there, he will make a Gangstarr Foundation tribute album with all proceeds going to Guru’s son to set up his future.

With all of the upcoming projects (including some production work for Busta Rhymes and The Game), Preemo admits this is his greatest opportunity to experiment: “That is totally what it is. There is a big window open right now, and no one is jumping through it, so I want to jump through it and take control over a lot of this shit, so I put the balance back into it and blends right in with all of the stuff that is out there. I am that strange car next to the Lambo and Ferrari at the light that puts them in awe and is ready to take off when the light turns green.”

OFTEN referenced as the MOST INFLUENTIAL and MOST LETHAL LYRICAL MC of all Times in HIP-HOP.

Rakim pioneered a practice previously unknown to hip-hop called internal rhyming. Prior to Rakim, hip-hop music lyricism was usually rather simple from a structural standpoint and the ideas it expressed were easy and direct. Instead of relying solely on rhyming couplets, Rakim pioneered using internal rhyme multiple times within just a few lines. Rakim also popularized the use of metaphors with multiple meanings. His songs were the first to really impart hip-hop music lyrics with a serious poetic device sensibility.

Majority of hip-hop artists (both underground and mainstream) acknowledge a huge debt to Rakim's innovative style. -Saul Williams mentions Rakim in the song "Twice The First Time", stating: "not until you've listened to Rakim on a rocky mountain top have you heard hip hop" and also in the song "Penny For A Thought" where he says "Someone like Rakim said - 'I could quote any MC, but why should I? how would it benefit me?'"

-Kurupt references Rakim on Snoop Dogg's debut album, Doggystyle. On "For All My Niggaz and Bitches," Kurupt says, "Who's jokin'? Rakim never joked, so why should I loc? now that's my idol...."

Puffy was guest hosting the show and when he heard the promo he was like “what the hell, who did this?” and Angie told him I did it. The aged old question of why most guys are obsessed with sex?

Not all guys are obsessed with sex. Some of my friends and I would honestly rather have their Basketball/football team win than get laid, are too lazy to deal with getting laid, or don’t put so much stock into getting laid. But my friends and I are an abnormal lot.

I’ve come up with reasons to explain why many guys are sex-obsessed. Keep in mind I’m not defending being obsessed with sex. I’m just attempting to shed light on why a guy might be obsessed with sex to give you some peace of mind:

We Have To Be “Let In” – Sex physically resembles “VIP Access” because we have to be invited. We work for it, we convince, we campaign, strategize, and pull out all the stops. The woman controls all access. Men enjoy the challenge of obtaining this “invitation”.

It Symbolizes Success To Guys – My friend enjoys insulting me by asking: “when’s the last time you got laid?” I don’t find it insulting when he asks me this- I’m just puzzled why he thinks getting laid makes someone so great. I just want to be called cute, or kiss a cute girl anyway. Guys insult guys who aren’t getting laid, and praise guys who get it all the time. Now if my friend wants to call me out for not getting a kiss or not being called cute in eons, that’s would hurt! Some guys think: “If I’m nice, she might have sex with me,” instead of “If I’m nice, she might like me.”

Our Heroes Do It – Men and women idolize talented people like musicians and sports heroes, or even geeks like Bill Gates. Part of the fantasy of being wildly successful and talented includes tons of women that fawn upon us. Promiscuous behavior among famous males is glorified in the press while the press chastises Miley Cyrus, for example, for wearing a skirt that’s too short.

It Was a Big Deal Growing Up – At some point, the fun and games dissolved, and my manhood was measured on whether I had lost my virginity or not. It was incredibly intimidating when the older guys would ask me about my “prowess” with women, and how many times I had “bedded” a girl…especially when the answers were: I have no prowess, and I have “bedded” ZERO girls. Young men do feel pressure from other/older guys to lose their virginity. We all grow out of these silly ideas, but the idea of being a “stud” is fostered among guys at an early age.

The Porn Factor - While porn helps satisfy urges, it also intensifies urges. And for women, unlike guys, porn is not a vital necessity like oxygen and water.

We Are Control Freaks – One of the most confusing entities in the world to men is…the woman. We don’t understand why you need entire shelves in your closets just for bags and shoes. We don’t understand why you are so happy one day, then angry the next. As humans, we seek order. Having sex with a girl symbolically, and temporarily, “solves” the mystery and adds a little order to the gender for us…although, I’m sometimes more confused after sex.

We Are Always Thinking About It – Our eyes must have express direct wires to the “sex section” of our brains. We walk around town considering whether we’d have sex with women that pass by and what it would be like to do so. High heels or a sliver of cleavage can set us off. And, one question many guys ask before being introduced to a woman, regardless of the situation: “is she hot”?

We Like To Conquest – It is in our blood to conquest and some of us don’t feel victorious with a kiss or a few dates. The “conquistadors” go for sex, and usually go for it with many women.

Whatever the reason for sex obsession, most of the issue boils down to security. People who need someone else prove that they are worth something are insecure. While it’s a good idea to steer clear of men who are out to conquest or just out to get laid, it’s also good to steer clear of insecure men. Men who need sex to vindicate themselves, feel in control, prove something to their buddies, etc, are obviously not dating material.

Fans pay to see fighters engaged, and that's one quality that Pacquiao has that should give him the nod as a great fighter.

Christopher Edward Martin (born March 21, 1966), better known as DJ PREMIER aka Primo and was known in the past as Cutmasta C, is an American record producer and DJ, and the instrumental half of the duo GangStarr, together with MC GURU on the lyrical side. Originally from Houston, he has lived in Brooklyn, New York, for much of his professional career. Premier is hailed as an architect of "Hardcore East Coast Hip-Hop known by its heavy drums and sparse loops."

The Source & XXL magazines named DJ Premier one of the five greatest producers in hip-hop history. In an interview with XXL Magazine, DJ Premier was asked how his sound evolved, to which he replied, "Marley Marl is my number one inspiration. Jam Master Jay, Mixmaster Ice and UTFO. Grandmaster D and Whodini. DJ Cheese, Grandmaster Flash, Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaataa. Jazzy Jay, even Cut Creator. Seeing them do what they do. It’s black music, it’s black culture, it comes from the ghetto. How can you not relate to ghetto people when that’s the rawest form of blackness? Even though it’s not a good place in regards to the economy and how bad people have it in the neighborhood, the realism’s there, and that’s what we were born out of. Peter Phillips (born June 21, 1970, in the Bronx, NY better known by his stage name Pete Rock, is an American record producer, DJ and rapper. He rose to prominence in the early 1990s as one half of the critically acclaimed group Pete Rock & CL Smooth. After the duo went their separate ways, Rock continued with a solo career that has garnered him worldwide respect, though little in the way of mainstream success. Along with groups such as Stetsasonic, A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots and Gang Starr, Rock played a major role in the merging of elements from jazz into hip hop music (also known as jazz rap). He is widely recognized as one of the greatest hip hop producers of all time, and is often mentioned alongside DJ Premier and RZA as one of the mainstays of 1990s East Coast hip hop production. Pete Rock is also the older brother and younger cousin, respectively, of rappers Grap Luva and Heavy D.

MADLIB (Mind Altering Demented Lessons In Beats) (born Otis Jackson Jr. on October 24, 1973 in Oxnard, California) is a California-based DJ, multi-instrumentalist, rapper, and music producer. Known under a plethora of pseudonyms, he is one of the most prolific and critically acclaimed hip hop producers of the 2000s and has collaborated with a myriad of hip hop artists, including The Alkaholiks, Mos Def, De La Soul, Ghostface Killah, Talib Kweli, A.G., MF DOOM (as Madvillain), and the late J Dilla (as Jaylib). Madlib has described himself as a "DJ first, producer second, and MC last." and he has done several projects as a DJ, mixer, or remixer. Madlib has been an influence on an upcoming generation of producers and musicians, many of which prefer Madlib's abstract styles.

Patrick Douthit (born January 15, 1975 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina), better known as 9TH WONDER is a hip hop producer from Raleigh, North Carolina. He began his career as the main producer for the hip hop group Little Brother, and has also worked with Nas, Mary J. Blige, Jean Grae, Wale, Jay-Z, MURS, Buckshot, and Destiny's Child. As part of Little Brother he gained widespread recognition and critical acclaim for his production on their debut release, The Listening. He has since left Little Brother. 9th Wonder stated that as long as both Phonte and Big Pooh welcomed a reunion somewhere down the line, he would be completely open to the idea.

In the mid-1990s, 9th Wonder was a DJ at the radio at North Carolina Central University while attending school there. He was doing production work for local artists with his keyboards. By his senior year, he was introduced to a relatively new music DAW production software called Fruity Loops (now FL Studio) by a friend who was also a producer. Around the same time, he met two younger schoolmates Phonte and Big Pooh, who were local emcees in the Durham area and joined to become the group known as Little Brother. He then began DJ'ing for them at shows and produced a number of their beats on underground records during the rest of the 1990s.

As an up-and-coming producer, he released a remix album of Nas' 2002 album God's Son entitled God's Stepson. This album began what is now a regular trend of remixing whole albums. 9th Wonder has a smooth and soulful production style that relies on samples from artists such as Al Green and Curtis Mayfield. He attributes the bass lines that he uses in production to DJ Premier, Pete Rock and J Dilla, while he claims to have learned "moans" from RZA. With the help of filmmaker Tee Smith and sound engineer Young Guru, 9th Wonder landed a coveted production credit on Jay Z's then highly-anticipated The Black Album. The producer continued to produce for Little Brother and many other Hiphop artists/groups, including Jean Grae (Jeanius), and Murs. 9th Wonder has also produced for more widely known artists such as Destiny's Child, Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu, De La Soul, Mos Def, Memphis Bleek, Buckshot from Black Moon, and more recently, artists such as The Game, Lloyd Banks, and Sean Price.

James Dewitt Yancey(February 7, 1974 – February 10, 2006) better known by the stage names J-DILLA and Jay Dee, was an American record producer who emerged from the mid-1990s underground hip hop scene in Detroit, Michigan. "HE WAS ONE OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY'S MOST INFLUENTIAL HIP-HOP ARTIST." Yancey's career began slowly; he was highly regarded among the groups and rappers for which he produced, most notably for the production of critically acclaimed albums by Common, Busta Rhymes, A Tribe Called Quest, and The Pharcyde. He was a member of Slum Village for their acclaimed debut album Fantastic Vol. 2.

Following his death due to the cause of Cardiac arrest, the hip hop community became centered upon the music and image of J Dilla. Many of the artists with whom Yancey worked performed or recorded tributes, and a large group of followers voiced their support for the late musician. Yancey's music experienced a rebirth as the producer gained many times more listeners than he had during his life, partly due to media exposure. Though several posthumous albums have been released and others are planned, the massive amounts of unreleased recordings by the producer remain somewhat undetermined. Yancey's estate has also been controverted.

Notable Musical tributes:
-Erykah Badu's 2008 album New Amerykah Part One (4th World War) contains a song with Questlove as a tribute to Dilla titled "Telephone." It is based on a story Dilla's mother told to Badu about Dilla's visions before his passing. The track 'My People' on New Amerykah Part One (4th World War) is a reworking of the Dilla's 'People' from the Donuts album. Badu also dedicates 'The Healer' to Dilla, saying in her lyrics "this one is for Dilla".

-"Forever Begins" from Common's album Finding Forever is a tribute to J Dilla.

-"Can't Stop This" from the The Roots' album Game Theory is a tribute to J Dilla.

-Madlib's album Beat Konducta Vol. 5: Dil Cosby Suite and Beat Konducta Vol. 6: Dil Withers Suite is his and J-Rocc's tributes to J Dilla.

-Robert Glasper, a Jazz pianist, recorded "J Dillalude" as a tribute to the late producer.

-Charles Hamilton released a mixtape entitled, And Then They Played Dilla, in which he pays tribute to Dilla in many of its songs.

-Flying Lotus made a tribute called "Fall In Love".

-Q-Tip pays tribute to J Dilla in the song "Shaka" and "Life is Better" on his album The Renaissance, as well as in the liner notes.

-DJ Spinna released two tributes to Dilla on 45. The first being "Dilla is the G.O.A.T." an instrumental lament. The second,"Dillagence", contains the same production as the first mentioned, but with added vocals by Phonte of Little Brother fame. All of the lyrics were taken from previous J Dilla songs.

-Termanology recorded a hip hop mixtape tribute to J Dilla titled "If Heaven Was A Mile Away"

-Kardinal Offishall pays tribute to J Dilla on his album Not 4 Sale. At the end of the song "Due Me a Favour", he performs an a cappella rap, stating, "I believe that Dilla was the number one dude in rap."

-Akrobatik pays tribute to Dilla on his album Absolute Value. In the song "Put Your Stamp on It", he raps "If hip hop is dead then it happened the day that Dilla died." The song was produced by Dilla himself.

-Show & A.G. pays tribute to Jay Dee on their song "Business As Usual" from the Live Hard EP, where A.G. rhymes; "Age bitter, J Dilla rest your soul /Gave his life for this hip-hop shit, y'all don't hear me though".

-Dwele on his 2008 album Sketches of a Man pays tribute to J Dilla all over the album, from the album cover (an imitation of Dilla's instrumental album, "Donuts"), to the interludes ("Workin' On It" is a medley of various songs found on "Donuts") and the songs "Open Your Eyes" and "Brandi". "Open Your Eyes" is a cover of the Bobby Caldwell song that was sampled by J Dilla for Common's "The Light", from his 2000 album "Like Water For Chocolate". "Brandi" contains a sample from "Go Ladies" from J Dilla's former group, Slum Village(who also appear on the song) from their 2000 album, "Fantastic, Vol. 2".

-Busta Rhymes & Mick Boogie released the free mixtape Dillagence.

Dominick Lamb better known by his stage name, Nottz is a music producer, writer and rapper from Norfolk, Virginia, U.S. He sometimes extends his executive name to Nottz Raw. He has produced for some of the biggest names in hip hop including Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, The Game, Notorious B.I.G., Scarface, J Dilla, and G-Unit. Some of his earliest production work was on the Rawkus Records compilation Lyricist Lounge, Volume One, in 1998. From there he landed three tracks on Busta Rhymes' Extinction level Event LP, after Rhymes stumbled across one of his beat tapes.

Like many other hip hop producers to emerge before the 2000s, Nottz borrows samples from old soul records and old movies soundtracks to reconstruct into new beats. West Coast hip hop icon, Dr. Dre, has named Nottz as one of his favorite producers, and has selected him as one of the few guest producers on his much delayed, yet anticipated Detox album.

Nottz also has a group called D.M.P., which stands for "Durte Muzik Prahdukshun". They released an EP in 2004 and a full length album on Koch Records, titled Nottz Presents D.M.P., in 2005.

Nottz released his first solo album, You Need This Music, in October 26, 2010 under his label, Raw Koncept. The album features Nottz as an MC as well as a producer. He is also working on rapper Game upcoming album The R.E.D. Album, after having 3 of his beats on Game's last two albums Doctor's Advocate and LAX. He has worked with female rapper Rah Digga on her long-awaited comeback album, Classic, and it has been released in September 14, 2010 under his label. Nottz is now working with rapper Asher Roth on their collaboration EP entitled The Rawth which is schedule to be released in 2010.

uhmmm ders NO specific way to T/C of a New Era Fitted Hat but here's my (3) suggestions from 12 yrs. experience:
1) Totally avoid as much as possible sweatin' on ur hat & holding 'em wid dem Filthy hands. take it off ASAP wen u start 2do so.

2) keep ur NICE hat on a Plastic container (tupperware lol!) to prevent damage from dust & Pests etc. PPL leave the size sticker on for simple style however, doing this could slightly damage your cap. If you wear the same cap constantly, it will slowly form a circular ring aka sun burn where the sticker was when you eventually do take it off. I say simply just remove it after purchase.

3) if it's JACKED up, Trash dat piece of $h*t alredy. nevermind saving it waste of time. save $ & BUY a new one. then TAKE REALLY GOOD CARE of it, put Value on it like it's some Jewelry. lol!

Lots of speculation is going around on the new iPhone 4g... in HD!! Official features will be revealed at the WWDC conference this June.

Verizon Wireless is currently testing a CDMA version of the iPhone 4G and Verizon confirms they are making network changes to bring the iphone to their network. The new iPhone 4g is going to be loaded with awesome new features like video chat, multi-tasking and extreme downloading. (List of possible features below). Just when you think there is nothing else to come up with, more and more and more technology comes out. And it is on the rise, and not just at Apple, Inc!

Woo hoo! This iPhone 4g could also have dual core processors and higher and powerful graphic chips that can deliver higher video resolutions and better "still" images when taking pictures.

There are a few networks working on building a 4G network. T-mobile would be a likely carrier since they are GSM already. Sprint has a 4G network already... AT&T and Verizon Wireless are in the beginning stages. There are talks of Verizon Wireless getting iPhone sometime in 2010 since the exclusive contract with AT&T expires, but it could be renewed until 2012.

Whether or not it will be 4G will be up to them!... can they build in time? Regardless, there is much anticipation on how many people will leave AT&T for Verizon Wireless because of AT&T's lagging on app restrictions like Slingplayer and Google Voice and Skype (on #g network, not Wi-Fi).

AT&T's restrictions have caused the percentage of people that are JailBreaking their iPhones to rise since Jail Breaking usually comes with Cydia which is the app store for jail broken phones. Most of the applications, ringtones, and even iphone themes!...are free with Cydia. Winterboard is part of the download, and it very easily add's the changes to your phone so you dont have to figure how to do it on your own...it is VERY automated.

The Palm Pre on Sprint (Sprint now offering a 4G network) has made an attempt at being competitive with iPhone and Blackberry...but it's not looking good. Maybe their recent Android phone will help.

iPhone 4G looks promising in terms of being sleek, packed with new hardware and multi-tasking software. Very exciting.

You Can Tag Someone You Are Mentioning In A Status Update
Use the “@” tag in status updates. You probably don't know how to do this, or at least it looks like it because no one is doing it. Any Twitter user realizes that when they mention another user, they just type “@” and the username so they are notified that they were tagged. Facebook finally jumped on that bandwagon and now Facebook folks can do it too.
When writing a status update, type the “@” symbol and begin typing a friend’s name. A list should show up allowing you to choose them from it. When you do this, the name turns into a link and they are notified that you mentioned their name. This is cool because now people can know when they are being talked about so they can join the conversation. Notice that you can also tag groups and pages in this manner.

Find your friends Photos:
The easiest way to find the photos your friends have uploaded is by going to the ‘Photos’ tab in the left-hand navigation part of the screen. You can view the pictures a few different ways:
Individual Photos – Just by clicking on the ‘Photos’ tab you can view all of the recently uploaded photos individually. Below them you can see the name of the album they’re in, as well as the name of the person who uploaded them. You can click on the tag to go to that person’s profile.
Recent Albums – If you click on ‘Recent Albums’, you can see all of the freshly uploaded albums that your friends have posted.

The proposed Super Fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather is getting closer.

Mayweather agreed to terms for the welterweight title bout on Tuesday, multiple sources with knowledge of the negotiations told ESPN.com.

The proposed date is March 13, although there is a chance it could move to May 1, sources said. Mayweather, according to a source close to him, is OK with either date.

Pacquiao and Mayweather have fought recent bouts at catch weights. However if they complete their deal, the bout would be contested at 147 pounds, the maximum for a welterweight fight, a source said.

Top Rank's Bob Arum, who promotes Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KOs), was flying to the Philippines on Tuesday night to meet with Pacquiao and try to close his side of the deal.

Arum spent much of Tuesday getting open issues resolved in his negotiations with Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, who represents Mayweather, sources said. Once Arum was able to do that, he left for the Philippines and is expected back on Monday.

If the HBO PPV fight happens on March 13, it would force the tentative HBO PPV fight between light heavyweights Roy Jones Jr. and Bernard Hopkins to move to another date. Hopkins and Jones both fight Wednesday and must win for their fight to go through.

The site for Pacquiao-Mayweather remains up in the air. There is interest from Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to bring the fight to his new stadium. There is also interest from venues in Las Vegas, including the MGM Grand (which has hosted several Pacquiao and Mayweather fights), and the Superdome in New Orleans in hosting a fight many believe will break the all-time record for pay-per-view buys, which is the 2.44 million units sold for Mayweather's 2007 split decision victory against Oscar De La Hoya.

The fight moved front and center with heavy public demand for it following Pacquiao's dominant 12th-round knockout of Miguel Cotto to win a welterweight title on Nov. 14. The victory gave Pacquiao a title in a record-breaking seventh weight division and 1.25 million pay-per-view units.

Mayweather (40-0, 25 KOs), who has won titles in five divisions, came out of a brief retirement in September to dominate Juan Manuel Marquez in a fight that generated 1.05 million buys.

Just a few days after Pacquiao's win over Cotto, Arum and Schaefer began negotiations.

One wrench in the talks was the date. Arum, Schaefer and HBO wanted to slot the fight on May 1. However, Pacquiao announced his candidacy for a congressional seat in the Philippines on Tuesday. With the election scheduled for May 10, it rules out a May 1 fight unless Pacquiao runs unopposed. Pacquiao lost the election for a congressional seat in 2007.

If Pacquiao-Mayweather isn't finalized, Arum has talked about matching Pacquiao with junior middleweight titlist Yuri Foreman, which would give Pacquiao an opportunity to win a title in an eighth division. Foreman defeated Daniel Santos to win a 154-pound belt on the Pacquiao-Cotto undercard.

Schaefer has talked about bringing Mayweather to England to match him with Matthew Hatton in the event Pacquiao-Mayweather isn't made. Hatton is the brother of Ricky Hatton, the former junior welterweight and welterweight titlist whom Mayweather knocked out in 2007.

It’s been a decade since the last proper Rakim album – and 12 years since the last Rakim album that truly embodied the God Emcee's abilities. But still, while 1999’s The Master wasn’t much of a crowd-pleaser, most Hip Hop heads will take some Rakim over none. In the past 10 years, the Mic God has offered precious few musical morsels for his fans. His defunct deal with Aftermath raised a lot of hopes, but only really materialized in a few features and unreleased tracks. Add in a dope Nike commercial and about 30 different incarnations of “It’s Nothing,” and that’s been the tale of the decade for The 18th Letter. Now, in 2009, perhaps the most influential emcee of all time is ready to drop his oft-delayed third solo outing, The Seventh Seal.

“How to Emcee” is the introductory cut on the album, and it is a fitting one. An off-kilter guitar loop and an energized Rakim let the listener know class is still in session. Things continue to roll on the piano-infused “Walk These Streets.” The track is a taste of what a Dr. Dre-assisted project might have sounded like, which is unsurprising as frequent Aftermath collaborator Needlz mans the boards for this one. Also worth a mention is Maino’s contribution, as he lends some credence to the song’s street tales.

“Documentary of a Gangsta” is just that, as Ra takes a step back and plays the role of observer over heavy piano loops: “Stuffin’ bread, his pockets is hungry / You talkin’ nonsense unless the topic is money / He call a hundred thou a ‘honey,’ mamis, he call ‘em dimes / So his mind’s on his money, but mamis is on his mind / Like an O.G., focused on the come up / Think he effin’ around, he approach you with the gun up / Bang, roll a blunt up and forget it happened / Stash the dollars back in product and get it crackin’”

Following a nice set of introductory tracks, The Seventh Seal comes to a screeching halt, with three indiscernible cuts: “Man Above,” “You and I,” and “Won’t Be Long.” The first and last of these both feature Tracey Horton on the hook, so maybe that has something to do with it. In any case, two of these could’ve been done away with, and you’d have an unchanged album (if it were up to me, I’d have stuck with “You and I”). “Holy Are You,” the much-hyped single tries to get the heavy-handed feel back to the album, but it’s clear that cohesion has been tossed to the wind once the massively-unsatisfying (and ironically-titled) “Satisfaction Guaranteed” hits the speakers. In the end, Rakim’s latest album doesn’t really make any contribution of significance to his catalogue. It’s clear that this man isn’t the same microphone fiend heads grew up worshipping. For one reason or another, he lacks the ability to subtly attack with his flow like he once did. As for fans who want answers as to why Ra has been M.I.A. for all these years, they will get none here; this is certainly unfortunate, as that would’ve been much more engaging than him simply trying to get by on the strength of his own mythos. Sadly, that’s exactly what Rakim does here, and rarely does that get you anywhere – microphone fiend or not.

I'm not sure if any of YA'LL have been noticing lately, but the prices of almost everything that we need in order to sustain Life has FKN skyrocketed, and to be quite frankly, it’s ridiculous! From raises on Fasi-limo (The Bus) passes, Cigarettes, Gas, Rent, Vehicle Taxes, etc. I don't know about everyone else I can only speak for myself but it’s certainly taking a toll on ME. Obviously it’s an element that comes with the territory, and although it’s completely depressing in certain/most aspects, we all have to THINK POSITIVE! It may be hard to forget how malnourished our pockets/wallets may be, but we shall overcome-and hopefully once the economy is back sooner than later on it’s feet we can all say we lived through this economic slump we will have had stood the test of time.

consists of CROOKED I, JOE BUDDEN, JOELL ORTIZ, and ROYCE DA 5′9. Four major underground artists or are they really underground? Well, they have formed a supergroup called, “SLAUGHTERHOUSE”. They recently dropped a single to give the fans a taste of what might become an album. The Slaughterhouse group originated from a collaboration between Joe Budden, Royce da 5’9”, Joell Ortiz and Crooked I on a 2009 song from Joe Budden’s Padded Room album. The chemistry between the four rappers was so good that the group decided to record an album. The song, titled "Slaughterhouse," has become the group's trademark song. The four members of the Slaughterhouse group have had varying levels of success in varying times in the rap industry. Joe Budden saw high success for his debut album and Mood Muczik mixtapes, while not enjoying the same success on his 2009 album Padded Room.

Royce da 5’9” has enjoyed much underground success, especially with his Bar Exam mixtapes and early 2000s album Death is Certain. Royce released the Revival EP just prior to the release of the Slaughterhouse album, and preluded his own album with the single “Shake This.”

Crooked I and Joell Ortiz are the least known members of Slaughterhouse. They look to expound on their Slaughterhouse notoriety by releasing mixtapes just before the upcoming album and albums of their own within the following year.

HOW AND WHY DID I START KRUMPING?: Well I started out clownin just like every other veteran. Then of course the cross over from clownin to krumpin took place. So me being that hood dude I am, I converted to krumpin. With help from my bro’s j tight and soulja tight and some lil tight will power I met up with big eyez again and join the movement the way it was supposed to be. I’ve been dancing since I was very lil. When krump started it was a stress releaving dance and it looked rowdy. Since that was my background. (rowdy) I grabbed ahold of it and used it for personal life issues. But now I use my skills to inspire the life’s of others and to spread tha movement tha right way.

HOW WAS MY DANCE CHARACTER AND DANCE NAME BORN?: My aka rowdy boy was brought up because I was a rowdy person.. my first dance name ever was given to me by my mom. She named me twin. The way lil tight came about was because I lived a similar life to tight eyez. He seen that and took me in under his wing. My first eyez name (rowdy eyez) was givin to me by j tight when he was baby tight. My rapture and cloud character are two different characters. Tha rap character is pretty much self explanatory. I come to take yo style out...and the cloud style is unusual unique, weird characteristic.

THE TOUGHEST BATTLES OF MY KRUMP CAREER: My toughest battle was when I battled the old lil tight eyez. Everything I was throwin at him he made it equal. Tha battle lasted for about 30 rounds but I give him his respect… this battle took place in October 2007… I would love to battle him again cuz he’s buck and original and I wouldn’t mind goin at it with him again. It was fun.
